Kedaung Angke UP PKB Holds Kir Test at Kalideres Terminal

The Kedaung Angke Motor Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB), West Jakarta, Monday (4/10), held a mobile kir test service at Kalideres Bus Terminal. As a result, around 15 public minivans failed the test.

This service is to make it easier for public owners

Kedaung Angke UP PKB Head, Christianto expressed that the mobile kir test service at Kalideres Terminal was held to make it easier for public minivans owners who have expired their kir not to have to go to the Kedaung Angke UP PKB.

"This service is to make it easier for public owners," he expressed.

Welcoming Mudik 2023, Dishub Launches Mobile KIR Test Service

The service itself has been ongoing since a week ago and had tested 15 public minivans. Checks carried out included emission tests, brakes, lights, wipers, wind pressure, and tire condition.

According to him, it will be ongoing to D+7 of Idul Fitri. Even, the same action will also be held at Grogol Terminal shortly.

"The existence of a roadworthy public minivan is very important as a means of transportation, thus people will feel safe and comfortable, especially during the season of mudik exodus and returning flow," he uttered.

Herman (51), a public minivan Jak 52 driver (Kalideres - Muara Angke) admitted that he was happy with the kir test service at Kalideres Terminal. Apart from being easy, he also did not need to stand in line during the kir test.

"I appreciate it. This is very helpful for accelerating when doing the kir test," he finished.
